I don't know if you've been following this story, but Google and a group of authors and publishers have been slugging it out because Google has scanned 15 million books (including all of mine) and put portions of the content online. They want to sell all of them as digital books too, and made a tentative agreement with the authors/publishers group, but that agreement hit a snag this week in court. A judge put a stop to the whole digital library/store concept.

It looks like Google plans on taking this to Congress now.
